Recently, the reconstruction and expansion project of Kenya’s A8 Highway, undertaken by our company, has been steadily progressing. As a key local transportation improvement project, the project has been expanded and upgraded from the original two-way two-lane road to a two-way four-lane road. This will effectively remove traffic bottlenecks, improve the regional road network structure, and facilitate economic and trade circulation as well as people’s livelihood development along the route.

In this construction project, our company undertakes the core construction task of 15 kilometers, primarily responsible for subgrade engineering, ramp, and interchange supporting construction. The core quantities include 250,000 cubic meters of earth excavation and 620,000 cubic meters of earth backfill. In response to the complex overseas construction environment, the project department strictly adheres to standardized construction specifications, scientifically coordinates resource allocation, and meticulously controls key processes such as earthwork operations and subgrade filling. We have comprehensively established safety, quality, and progress defense lines to ensure the smooth and orderly progress of the project.

Upon completion, the project will significantly enhance road traffic capacity and driving safety, smoothing the transportation routes for regional personnel and materials. Moving forward, our company will closely monitor construction milestones, promote project construction with high quality and efficiency, and strive to create a benchmark project for overseas infrastructure.
